Inspired by the natural world, Hokianga artist Angela Newport celebrates New Zealand’s unique biodiversity and ever changing landscapes.
Angela’s work in conservation takes her to some of the most wild and remote corners of the world. The story of adaptation and connections; light and colour; motion and the hidden spaces in between, are expertly woven together on the canvas. Angela attended Elam School of Fine Arts (BFA, Painting) and is also a graduate of the University of Otago (Bsc, Zoology).
